The Ubiquiti WaveFiber ONU is a GPON optical network unit featuring a 2.5 GbE LAN port for high-speed fiber connectivity. Powered via 24V passive PoE, the device is designed for use with compatible UISP Fiber OLT platforms. Its durable polycarbonate enclosure supports operation in temperatures ranging from -15°C to 45°C, making it suitable for residential and business GPON deployments.

The Ubiquiti WaveFiber ONU is a compact GPON optical network unit designed to provide high-speed GPON fiber connectivity. Featuring a 2.5 GbE RJ45 LAN port and an SC/APC GPON optical interface, it supports GPON throughput of up to 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream over fiber distances of up to 20 km.

Powered via 24V passive PoE, the WaveFiber ONU is designed for use with compatible Ubiquiti GPON OLT platforms, including the UF-OLT, UF-OLT-4, and UISP-FIBER-OLT-XGS. It supports ITU-T G.984 GPON standards and utilizes 1310 nm upstream and 1490 nm downstream wavelengths for optical communication.

The compact polycarbonate enclosure measures 76.5 × 76.5 × 26.4 mm and supports both desktop and wall-mounted installation. Operating in temperatures ranging from -15°C to 45°C and humidity levels of up to 90% non-condensing, the unit is designed for reliable deployment in GPON environments.

Integrated LED indicators provide status information for power, PON link status, and Ethernet connectivity. The device supports monitoring, diagnostics, remote firmware upgrades, VLAN support, and GPON management functions for integration into UISP fiber deployments.
