The MikroTik CRS318-1Fi-15Fr-2S-OUT, also known as netPower 15FR, is an outdoor managed switch designed for GPEN, ISP, surveillance, and outdoor networking deployments where power availability is limited. Featuring 15 reverse PoE input ports, the switch can draw power directly from connected client devices, reducing the need for dedicated power infrastructure in remote installations.

The switch includes 16 Fast Ethernet ports, with 15 ports supporting reverse PoE input and one port capable of passive PoE output. Two Gigabit SFP ports provide fiber uplink connectivity for long-distance network integration. This makes the netPower 15FR a practical solution for outdoor networking projects, apartment buildings, utility rooms, elevator shafts, and pole-mounted deployments.

Powered by an 800MHz ARM processor with 256MB RAM, the CRS318-1Fi-15Fr-2S-OUT supports both RouterOS and SwitchOS through a dual-boot configuration, giving administrators the flexibility to choose advanced routing functions or simplified switching management. The device includes a RouterOS Level 5 license for expanded networking capabilities.

Its rugged outdoor enclosure and passive cooling design allow reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. With a switching capacity of 7.2Gbps, non-blocking throughput of 3.6Gbps, and forwarding performance up to 5.4Mpps, the netPower 15FR provides dependable performance for outdoor Ethernet distribution networks.
