The ER-8-XG from Ubiquiti Networks is a cost-effective and user-friendly managed Gigabit switch. This Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch device comes in a 1U rackmount enclosure and features (1) Gigabit Ethernet port, (8) 10G SFP+ ports and (1) RJ45 Serial port. This device provides up to 80 Gbps non-blocking throughput. Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch devices are managed through CLI or web interface which offers an extensive suite of advanced Layer 2 switching features and protocols as well as Layer 3 routing capability.
