The Adaptive Thread Defence System plugin connects your devices to our threat intelligence platform to receive real-time updates.
The plugin comes with a set of firewall rules that match and drop identified traffic from the threat intel feeds. ATDS updates approximately 350,000 threat data points per day with over 150 updates during the day with very low memory impact of the device. Even the smallest devices can be connected without any degradation of throughput or inspection. ATDS uses open and closed sources of threat intelligence like ransomware nodes, malware sites, command control servers, botnets, known spammers and spam servers, tor nodes, and Layer 7 regular expression blocking.
